Criteria Labs Selects Magma's Knights Camelot as CAD Navigation Tool of Choice to Direct New Focused-Ion-Beam Hardware DeviceMay 22, 2008 -- Magma Design Automation, Inc. today announced that Criteria Labs, a semiconductor equipment industry's back-end services companies, has adopted Magma's Knights Camelot CAD navigation software for driving its new focused-ion-beam (FIB) hardware device. Criteria Labs selected Camelot as its CAD navigation tool of choice primarily due to its ability to view layout independent of tool type, cross map layout with images, and drive the tool to very accurate X, Y coordinates for device debug and FIB processing. Camelot's ability to rapidly convert layout, netlist and design files into a common format for cross mapping enables rapid device debug and repair. Leveraging Camelot's capabilities with FIB hardware, Criteria Labs will be able to more quickly and easily locate potential defects and make corrections faster.
