May 30, 2007 -- OneSpin Solutions GmbH has accepted an invitation from standards body Accellera to become a member and serve on the Unified Coverage Interoperability Standard (UCIS) Technical Subcommittee. As a member of UCIS, the newest Accellera technical subcommittee, OneSpin will participate in and contribute to the creation of standards to support the exchange of coverage data within a verification-related process and between such processes.
"Accellera welcomes OneSpin and applauds its participation in our Unified Coverage Interoperability Standard Technical Subcommittee," said Shrenik Mehta, Accellera Chair. "OneSpin's expertise, influence and functional verification technology will benefit the standard and improve design and designer productivity."
"Ten years ago we began working on coverage models and metrics that certify verification completeness, ensuring no functional errors remain undetected," said Peter Feist, CEO at OneSpin. "We look forward to sharing our expertise with the other UCIS members to jointly establish an industry-wide standard of next-generation coverage solutions that advance the IP and chip business."
OneSpin offers a complete functional verification solution — OneSpin 360(TM) Module Verifier (360MV) — that ensures right-first-time, error-free operation and true functional sign-off for a broad range of digital modules and IP, such as peripherals, processors and subsystems of up to a few hundred thousand lines of RTL code. OneSpin's verification solution enables and guides engineers to predictably achieve 100% input scenario coverage and 100% output behavior coverage. 360 MV transforms formal verification from a bug-hunting and corner-case inspection approach into a true functional sign-off approach.
