Forte Design Systems, formed by the merger of two established EDA companies -- Chronology Corporation and CynApps, Inc. -- is a leader in higher-level verification and design.

Forte Design Systems is dedicated to addressing all design and verification needs of "GigaScale-class" electronics systems, as well as traditional SoCs, ASICs, and FPGAs. GigaScale systems have characteristics and requirements that generally include high dataflow, high simulation speeds, gate counts reaching billions of gates, multiple design and verification languages, and embedded processors.
