June 19, 2012 -- Agilent Technologies, Inc. today announced that it has estended its long-term relationship with AMCAD Engineering to include a technology partnership for services related to nonlinear design and measurement of new electronic devices.

AMCAD uses Agilent's Advanced Design System with simulators for nonlinear modeling, and a test system based on Agilent's PNA-X microwave network analyzer for nonlinear measurement. These two complementary Agilent design flows allow the company to provide customers with advanced, high-power device models accompanied by fast, robust, accurate, and complete simulation and measurement capabilities. AMCAD also provides load-pull systems that integrate Agilent test equipment.

"AMCAD complements our nonlinear design and measurement solutions with a wide range of services that enable customers to implement complex models in test systems," said Agilent technical manager Cecile Perier.
