July 2, 2012 -- Accelize has announced the XP5S620LP-40G low-profile FPGA computing card. The Accelize XP5S620LP-40G is the first low-profile computing card to feature 40Gb Ethernet and PCI Express 3.0 running at Gen3 speed. Engineered to accelerate networking and financial trading applications, the XP5S620LP-40G features an Altera Stratix V GX FPGA, high-bandwidth, high-density DDR3 SDRAM memory, and one direct-attached 40Gb Ethernet link (or up to four 10-Gbit links).
The XP5S620LP-40G provides the ultra-low wire-to-fabric latency required for high-frequency trading, smart feed handling, real-time algorithmic trading, and other types of real-time networking applications.
The combination of PCI Express 3.0, 40Gbits of Ethernet connectivity, and high-bandwidth memory on a highly integrated, low-profile, half-height card makes the perfect, deployment-ready programmable platform for high-performance network-based computing.
