April 1, 2010 -- CircuitSutra Technologies Pvt, Ltd., a provider of SystemC-based SOC modeling services, today announced that it is a new member of the ARM Connected Community. As part of the ARM Connected Community, CircuitSutra will gain access to a full range of resources to help it market and deploy solutions that will enable developers to get their ARM-powered products to market faster.

CircuitSutra have demonstrated expertise in creating the virtual platform of an ARM processor-based SOC using SystemC and standard SystemC API TLM2.0. Its platform, created by using an ARM926 processor model, is able to boot busybox embedded Linux in about 10 seconds and the full debian Linux with GUI support in about 30 seconds on a laptop that supports hardware acceleration.. The platform can be used to boot any embedded OS and is suitable for embedded software development. The SystemC models of IP blocks created by CircuitSutra can be integrated into any ESL tool environment or any virtual platform environment.

"By joining the Community, which now comprises more than 700 companies, CircuitSutra increases the large portfolio of skills, products and services that are centered around the ARM architecture, and currently available to developers worldwide," said Lori Kate Smith, Partnership Marketing Manager for ARM.
